Aquí en la UNAM San Antonio Universidad, en colaboración con la Universidad de Texas en San Antonio (UTSA) y la Facultad de Arquitectura de la UNAM, nos preparamos para rendir un emotivo tributo a la memoria y legado de Juan O’Gorman, una figura cuya trascendencia se extiende mucho más allá de las fronteras nacionales y que ha dejado una huella indeleble en el tejido cultural de Texas y más ampliamente en los Estados Unidos.
La selección de Juan O’Gorman como el homenajeado central de este Altar de Día de Muertos encuentra su raíz en su importancia artística y su profundo impacto en el desarrollo cultural y arquitectónico de Texas.
