We are an academic institution that promotes multinational integration and global understanding by delivering exceptional language instruction, fostering cultural exchange, community engagement, academic outreach, and building strong partnerships with other educational institutions.

OUR GOALS

1. Promote UNAM’s Internationalization in the United States. 

Support the internationalization endeavors of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and UNAM San Antonio by actively promoting its academic programs throughout the United States and worldwide.

2. Ensure Program Quality and Innovative Adult Education. 

Maintain the high quality of our academic programs, characterized by their dynamic and engaging nature, with the aim of being at the forefront of educational methodologies, including the implementation of culturally responsive teaching and learning, and the effective integration of new instructional resources.

3. Establish International Cultural Exchange and Community Outreach.

Develop and implement a sustainable international cultural exchange and community outreach program that fosters a universal collaboration, promotes intercultural understanding, and strengthens local and multinational communities.

4. Foster International Access and Retention with Cultural Competence. 

Create and implement programs and policies that facilitate the access and retention of students from various cultural backgrounds, fostering an environment that promotes cultural competence among all members of the UNAM San Antonio community.

5. Cultivate Highly Competent Staff for Quality and Responsive Education. 

Promote a highly competent and well-trained teaching and administrative staff capable of effectively executing tasks and processes, while consistently adhering to established standards.
