Aqu\u00ed en la UNAM San Antonio Universidad, en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Universidad de Texas en San Antonio (UTSA) y la Facultad de Arquitectura de la UNAM, nos preparamos para rendir un emotivo tributo a la memoria y legado de Juan O\u2019Gorman, una figura cuya trascendencia se extiende mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las fronteras nacionales y que ha dejado una huella indeleble en el tejido cultural de Texas y m\u00e1s ampliamente en los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

La selecci\u00f3n de Juan O\u2019Gorman como el homenajeado central de este Altar de D\u00eda de Muertos encuentra su ra\u00edz en su importancia art\u00edstica y su profundo impacto en el desarrollo cultural y arquitect\u00f3nico de Texas. O\u2019Gorman, reconocido por sus dise\u00f1os arquitect\u00f3nicos revolucionarios y su notable talento como muralista, ha dejado un legado duradero que ha enriquecido la identidad cultural de Texas y ha contribuido significativamente al di\u00e1logo intercultural entre M\u00e9xico y los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

Te esperamos en el evento inaugural, programado para este jueves 26 de octubre a las 7:00 p.m. en la Galer\u00eda de la UNAM San Antonio, localizada en 600 Hemisfair Plaza Way, San Antonio, TX 78205, marcar\u00e1 el comienzo de una exposici\u00f3n que se prolongar\u00e1 desde el 26 de octubre hasta el 30 de noviembre en el mismo recinto.<\/p>\n
