Course Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Films have entertained us for decades and have profoundly influenced culture, shaping societal perspectives and artistic expression. This course offers an in-depth exploration of American cinema, inviting advanced-level students to engage in meaningful conversations and analyses of films, genres, and historical moments in the U.S. film industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through guided discussions, students will develop a deeper understanding of film as an art form, enhancing their analytical skills and ability to express complex ideas in English. This is an excellent opportunity for film enthusiasts to refine their language skills while immersing themselves in the cultural and historical context of American cinema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisite<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Students must have completed Level 7 or possess equivalent knowledge. Admission to this program requires permission from the English Department Chair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
