Conversation Program \/ On-Site<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Course Description<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

(Part A & B)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These courses focus on developing students\u2019 spoken English abilities. Four levels\u2014basic, beginner, intermediate, and advanced<\/strong>\u2014are offered in two-part session classes throughout the year, with each level consisting of 21 hours of instruction<\/strong> based on the students\u2019 knowledge of English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These courses provide students with the opportunity to practice listening and speaking skills<\/strong> while learning new vocabulary<\/strong> to understand conversations on a variety of topics. No credits are awarded.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PART A Session Classes: Conversation (Basic, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Students will receive instruction on the first part<\/strong> of their conversation book and practice their conversation skills through interaction with the teacher and classmates on topics including, but not limited to: introductions, family, shopping, food, music, free-time activities, impressions, the weather, work, hobbies, sports, transportation, self-expression, crime and punishment, superstitions, education, fame and fortune, languages, and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PART B Session Classes: Conversation (Basic, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Students will receive instruction on the second part<\/strong> of their conversation book and practice their conversation skills through interaction with the teacher and classmates on topics including, but not limited to: the mind and body, money, the news, relationships, adventure, self-improvement, tourism, employment, vacations, inventions, the environment, safety, art, the past, and humor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
